Paul Pagel
Paul Pagel develops software as a craftsman. Paul started developing at Object Mentor as an apprentice. For three and a half years he developed under the tutelage of Object Mentor. He progressed through the apprenticeship model, learning how to develop quality software as part of a team. At Object Mentor, Paul developed and mentored for clients before becoming a cofounder of 8th Light.
Paul has enjoyed writing software that people use and find interesting. He is passionate about finding ways to write software faster and better. Software is making peoples lives easier, making a difference in how we function as people. Paul wants to participate in the process of making intuitive software people can use.
Education:
Paul Pagel received a Bachelor degree in Computer Science from DePaul University. At school, he specialized in writing software and the philosophy of logic.
Open Source:
Paul has contributed to FitNesse, an open source accepting testing framework. He is currently working on an acceptance testing framework in ruby.
