To Patrick, a craftsman needs to look beyond the excitement of features to concentrate on the function of the features. He helps clients to concentrate on the details of the code for those features. Clean, well-written code is going to show itself in the software and how people interact with it. The programmer is in control of that code so they need to take that task seriously.
Patrick has experience with Ruby, Rails, Java, and Clojure, but is continually taking on new challenges in other languages. When he is not writing code, Patrick enjoys playing and watching soccer. He actively supports his favorite teams, Barcelona and Cruz Azul. On most weekends, you can find him playing pickup games.
Patrick received his Bachelor's in Computer Science from Loyola University Chicago in 2011.
