UX Craftsman

Stephanie's interest in design was born from a love of music. She began taking photos of local bands in her home state of Florida. That grew into designing flyers and websites for the bands. After a few years of running an Etsy shop and moving to Chicago, she decided to teach herself HTML and CSS. This only expanded the horizons for her love of design.

Stephanie is drawn to the field of design because of the opportunity to leverage small changes into huge improvements. It is one thing to know that you need to have a field for the customer to enter their name, it is entirely another to know where to put that field on a page. Well-crafted UX design gives the user easy access to functionality, which is always a positive experience.

She loves Chicago and enjoys spending time with her Boston Terrier, Daisy and her husband, Ryan. When she's not writing HTML or CSS, you can find her drinking coffee at The Wormhole, watching her favorite TV shows, or going to Chicago's great restaurants with friends.
