Chris Peak, UX Craftsman

Chris Peak

UX Craftsman

8th Light Craftsman since June 1st, 2012

Chris' career can be traced back to an Apple II owned by his dad. It was from that screen that Chris first got the programming bug as a kid. After high school, Chris took freelance web development and design jobs. This allowed him to add to his ever growing photography portfolio, as well as giving him the chance to learn the basics of PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, CakePHP, and Rails while diving deeply into HTML & CSS.

For Chris, craftsmanship means solving problems for clients. It just so happens that software is the tool he uses to solve their problems. He knows that it is the attention to detail that will speak to his skill and dedication. The experience he has accumulated in his journey to being a craftsman is available in his toolbox, to be used to the client's benefit.

When not at work Chris enjoys photography, reading, and driving to Connecticut to see family and eat tons of seafood with his wonderful wife.
